“ After hearing so much I went to Udaipur centre. They did laproscopy myomectomy for me in April. I kept saying to doctor and surgeon from day first that my left side is paining after surgery. They said it takes time. I went to the center after one month. I met doctor and complained I have pain in my left side suture. Doctor Alka said it takes time and approximately 6weeks to heal. She didn't even check my operation site. I reached my home town and the suture had swelling and it got septic and burst open. I kept calling the center to ask if I have to stop medicine and my injection. The center kept transferring my call to one another and all had same response come to our centre. Imagine a patient with open stitch which got septic would travel. This happened on 17th May and I kept calling everyday requesting please connect me to Dr Alka but no one transferred my call. Ultimately I had to seek immediately medical help with a surgeon they kept me on antibiotics. On 23rd May I called centre from morning 9am and had to tell my case to every junior doctor. Ultimately I had to ask the center person to connect me to Dr Alka at any condition. They first refused and the same thing happened. They kept on transferring call to one another at last one senior executive took responsibility. At around 12.40pm I was connected to Dr Alla. I explained her my situation. She was shocked to know that my stitches got septic. She also asked me to reach to their centre. I had to explain her I can't travel and getting treated with a surgeon. My doctor explained that my stitch after one month burst open as either trocar was infected or stitch. Imagine such a big hospital and no proper sterilisation of the instruments and operation ward. Why is it so difficult to connect a patient to reach to the concerned doctor??? Is the patient going to travel with an open surgery site and septic???? Pathetic patient care and response. I was lucky as my parents are from medical background and took care of me in emergency. But sorry to say a patient calling daily about her situation it was difficult to reach to the concerned doctor. PS after surgery in night when my drip was to be changed nursing staff went to sleep. My mother came to check and saw that my drip finished she stopped it and went to call the staff. Staff came after half an hour of sleep. Serious management issues and no proper sterlisation of instruments. Took a week for the centre to connect me to Dr Alka. ”10 people found this helpfulHelpful Posted on: April 25, 2017, 12:04 p.m.
