    • It is advised to consult one doctor throughout pregnancy to avoid any kind of confusions. You can change consultant in between but make sure that you do not keep switching from one doctor to another. Researching properly before starting appointments is important for a peaceful pregnancy.

Can you eat before egg retrieval step in IVF procedure?
    • As a precautionary measure, the patient is advised to fast before undergoing IVF egg retrieval step because the process involves administration of anesthetics. The patient is advised to not to eat or drink anything for at least 8 hours prior to the egg retrieval procedure. Anesthesia is given to the patient before beginning with the procedure for effective retrieval of the eggs.

    • Yes, you can. But you need to take certain measures before egg retrieval step in IVF procedure. Try avoiding eating. But even if you are eating, try to keep it very light and healthy. This will help in successful execution of the medical procedure.

    • You should take rest for half an hour after embryo transfer. You do not require bed rest. But do refrain from doing any heavy exercises and strenuous activities. Always follows your doctor's instructions. If your doctor advises you to take bed rest then you should strictly adhere to that. Chances of IVF success with frozen embryo is good as compared to fresh embryo transfer provided the doctor and embryologist performing the transfer are expert in performing the transfer.

    • Most of the gynecologists recommend that bed rest is important. My doctor also asked me to rest and avoid stressful activities after my ET procedure. IVF success rates improves to a great extent with this. Good luck for pregnancy!

    • If you are trying to conceive and not getting pregnant then your tubes can be blocked. HSG is a trustworthy test to diagnose whether the tubes are patent or not. Please visit an experienced gynecologist to get your problem diagnosed before proceeding for any test.

    • Fallopian tube blockage is a common concern among women who are trying for a baby. HSG test will assist in knowing the condition of the fallopian tubes. And yes, the test reports are absolutely reliable. So make sure that you consult an experienced gynecologist for your case. Ela helped my sister in finding a good gynecologist for her treatment.
