    Q. Can one week pregnancy be detected?
    • Generally the answer to this question is No. Pregnancy is most often doubted after having missed period. Having a missed period is considered as to be one of the first signs of successful pregnancy. Pregnancy test can be performed one or two weeks after having missed periods because HCG levels takes time to increase which actually determine the presence of pregnancy.

    • Blood test helps to determine presence of pregnancy much earlier than urine test. If you are pregnant, then blood test will help you to find the results. After a time period of 10 days, your doctor will inform you about presence or absence of pregnancy. One week pregnancy can be determined successfully with the blood tests.
