There are three types of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) protocols such as Long Down-Regulation Protocol which is also known as Lupron Overlap Protocol. Another protocol is Antagonist Protocol and the third and the last protocol is Microdose Flare or Low Dose Lupron Protocol which is also known as Poor Responder Protocol.
IVF protocols form an important part of IVF procedure. Short protocol and long protocol are different parts of IVF protocols practiced in IVF procedure. Based on the requirement of each of the cases, the period of administration of IVF medications and injections vary along with doses of the same.
