What is a Semen Analysis Test? - by Damandeep Singh on Sept. 1, 2017, 12:54 p.m.
Semen is the fluid releases through ejaculation (in Men). It contains sperm cells which fertilize the egg and therefore one of the most important factors to assess. Semen Analysis Test is a male fertility test to determine if the male in the couple has any problem with the sperm count, motility and morphology. In the report a sperm count of 40 million to 300 million is considered a normal range for the number of sperm cells per milliliter. However a count below 10 million is considered poor and counts of 20 million or more is considered fine in case the motility and morphology are normal.
