    Q. I am recently diagnosed with PCOS. Can it affect my fertility and my chances of conception?
    • Many women with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) struggle to conceive due to anovulation (no ovulation) or very irregular and infrequent ovulation. Although complete cure is not possible in PCOS; most women with PCOS can have healthy pregnancies with many treatment options (medication, lifestyle changes) depending on the specific requirements. In extreme cases where natural ovulation does not occur even after treatment, a woman with PCOS can choose to have a child through ART (Artificial Reproductive Technology) procedures such as IVF (In-vitro Fertilisation).
