In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), both are two assisted reproductive technologies used to fertilize an egg before transferring of embryo. As the number of oocytes are less i.e. some of the doctors prefer ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection), as it has high success rate as compared to In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedure.
IVF procedure is performed as a whole in cases where no major male infertility issues are present. ICSI was combined with IVF procedure in our case as per the reports of semen analysis. IVF procedure is performed with other procedures based on the complications of the case.
