DosageAdult- The recommended dose range is 0.5gm to 1.5gm daily for 1 to 7 days
Side EffectsCentral Nervous System- Drowsiness, dizziness, headache, tremor, rigidity, poor coordination, epilepsy, tiredness, temporary loss of consciousness and fainting Miscellaneous- Nausea, vomiting, taste disturbances, liver impairment, skin reactions like rash, itching and inflammation
Warnings/PrecautionsCaution should be exercised in patients with history of epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, liver or kidney disease, during pregnancy and breastfeeding It may cause dizziness or drowsiness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication
