  • A. The number of embryos which need to be transferred in the IVF procedure is around one to five depending on the case of the patient as well as the age of the woman or female partner. If the age of the woman is less than 35 years, then one embryo is transferred into the uterus. In case if the age of the woman is more than 35 years of age, then three to five embryos are transferred into the uterus of the woman.
