The right size of a follicle before ovulation occurs is an average diameter of 22 to 24 mm (range 18-36 mm). It is the only range which can predict ovulation with ease. Mostly, the antral follicles grow in stimulated cycle. The growth rate of follicle and antral follicle will differ from each other.
