    Q. Is it common that IVF can lead to Twins and Multiple Births?
    • In earlier days, doctors prescribed transfer of numerous embryos to enhance the chance of pregnancy. At times this occasionally lead to numerous births. But now with, new advances like Expanded Blastocyst Culture and PGS/CCS these occurrences can be kept at bay. Moreover due to complications involved with multiple births, most fertility specialists advise against implanting more than one embryo at a time unless necessary.
