How to improve chances of getting pregnant with irregular periods:

The first very important thing is to regularize your menstrual cycle that plays a very important role and increase the frequency and accuracy of ovulation. This is a good news that making a few simple lifestyle changes can simply help you improve the balance of your hormones and greatly help to make your periods more regular:

1. Eat a healthy, well-balanced diet:

Step back from the fast food corners and pizza and burgers. You should add the whole grains, fruits, and vegetables and strictly avoid foods that are high in refined carbohydrates and fat and calories.

2. Attain a healthy weight:

If you are overweight or obese you should know that your weight is obstructing your chances of conceiving, losing a few pounds through control of fast food diet and some simple exercise or active yoga can be very beneficial and may increase the chances of conceiving, especially if you have been diagnosed with lifestyle disease PCOS. The same way, if you are underweight then try adding on a few pounds and don't go for the supplements and stay organic. With this, you should know some signs of pregnancy to track your pregnancy without any delay.

PCOS is general hormonal imbalance and if not treated then might cause more problems and then cause ovaries to stop working. In most cases of PCOS, the ovaries become enlarged and later appear covered with tiny, fluid-filled cysts that is painful. Some of the symptoms include:

1. No periods, irregular periods, or irregular bleeding

2. No ovulation or irregular ovulation

3. Abnormal cholesterol with high triglycerides

4. Excess hair growth on the body and face (hirsutism)

5. Obesity or weight gain (although thin women may have PCOS)

6. Insulin resistance (an indicator of prediabetes)

7. High blood pressure

8. Acne or oily skin

Getting Pregnant When You Have PCOS:

If you have PCOS health issue and you're overweight or obese, losing weight and to maintain BMI according to your height is one best way to improve your chances of pregnancy. Your doctor might prescribe you the medications to lower your insulin level. Long and elevated insulin levels can also lead to diabetes. Women who are diagnosed with PCOS may be at higher risk for developing heart diseases, endometrial cancer, type 2 diabetes and especially if PCOS is left untreated.

1. Keep the lines of communication open with your partner.

2. Exercise regularly to release your physical and emotional tension.

3. Try out some stress-reduction techniques such as meditation or yoga.

4. Cut down on caffeine and other stimulants.

I have found reading it somewhere that ovulation tracking helps in getting pregnant to a great extent. We should try to have intercourse on the most fertile days. That way, it's quite possible that there will be a healthy supply of sperm in the Fallopian tubes when an egg is released.
