    Urimax 0.4mg is an Alpha-Adrenoreceptor Antagonist, used to diminish urine outflow resistance in men. The side effects of urimax include headache, fever, runny nose, body pain and trouble sleeping. Dosage of Urimax 0.4 is monitored with decreasing urine outflow resistance.

    Urimax 0.4 mg capsule is an Alpha-Adrenoreceptor Antagonist, which is utilized to decrease the urine outflow resistance in men due to an enlarged prostate gland. Urimax should be used with care as it may make your blood pressure low. Urimax is not prescribed to a patient who is suffering from any kind of allergy to tamsulosin and also to the patients with a risk of erectile dysfunction. Being a medicine for men, Urimax 0.4Mg Capsule is not recommended to any women and children. It can lead to many other problems as well. People with chronic migraine headaches may find it hard to attend work or school regularly. (3)

    Runny Nose - Runny nose can be a side effect of Urimax 0.4. It can be caused by anything that irritates the nasal tissues. Infections such as the common cold and influenza, allergies and various irritants may all cause a runny nose. (4)

    Dizziness - Common causes of dizziness include a migraine, medications such as urimax 0.4mg, and alcohol. It can also be generated by a problem in the inner ear, where balance is regulated. (5)

    Body pain - Body pain is another side effect of urimax 0.4.

    Decreased interest in sexual intercourse - Consumption of urimax 0.4 can also decrease interest in sexual intercourse as a side effect. (6)

    Pregnancy- Urimax 0.4mg is not recommended for use in pregnant women.

    Breast-feeding - Urimax is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women.

    Hypotension - Urimax 0.4 mg Capsule may help in lower the blood pressure and may cause dizziness, weakness, fever or headache. It is suggested to sit or lie down until and unless the symptoms disappear. You are required to inform your doctor if the symptoms worsen.

    Cataract surgery - Urimax 0.4 mg Capsule is not recommended in patients scheduled for cataract surgery due to the risk of increasing Intraoperative Floppy Iris Syndrome (IFIS). (8)

    Dosage of Urimax 0.4 is also necessary to decrease the urine outflow resistance in men due to an enlarged prostate gland. As the result of over dosage, Urimax can cause harm to a person in various ways.

    1. Missed Dose: The missed dose of Urimax should be taken as soon as possible. It is suggested to skip the missed dose if it is already the time for the next scheduled dose.(9)

    Interaction with Medicine: Consumption of Urimax 0.4mg with any other medicine can cause – Diltiazem, Erythromycin or Ketoconazole.
