Telma tablet - Uses, Side Effects, Precautions

Telma tablet uses include hypertension, reducing cardiovascular disorders such coronary artery disease and stroke. Telma tablet side effects are changes in vision, dizziness, back and muscle pain, diarrhea, fever, and weakness. Precautions which need to taken for telma 40 mg are in cases of aliskiren and allergy.

Also known as Angiotensin receptor or ARB, Telma 40 MG is a drug and is recommended for treating high blood pressure. It is also useful for reducing the risk of some serious conditions like heart attacks, stroke and heart conditions. It helps in maintaining optimal blood pressure level in person's body and lowers the blood pressure of those who suffer from hypertension.

1- This medicine is not meant for women who are pregnant and breastfeeding.

2- Once the pregnancy is detected, discontinue its uses. This medicine affects the renin-angiotensin system, which can also result in injury or death of developing fetus.

3- Before starting Telma 40 MG tablet, correct the condition of symptomatic hypotension.

4- Use caution before using this medicine as it causes hyperkalemia in which potassium levels of blood increases.

5- Telma 40 MG tablet has not been made for children or adolescents below 18 years of age.

Side effects of Telma 40 MG tablet

Besides intended effects of this medicine, Telma 40 MG tablet may lead to some unwanted effects too. In such situations, you should look for medical help:

1- Changes in vision

2- Dizziness

3- Back pain and muscle pain

4- Abdominal pain

5- Painful or difficulty in urination

6- Diarrhea

7- Weakness

8- Fever
