    Sinarest is a psychiatric drug that comes in the form of sinarest tablet and sinarest syrup, sinarest af drops and sinarest nasal spray. It helps in treating nasal decongestion, common cold, and flu-like symptoms. Sinarest dosage intervenes with the absorption of body calcium. It is a diuretic drug.

    Sinarest medicine is one of the most widely prescribed and consumed medicines, which is also found naturally in over sixty plants. It is a psychiatrist drug, which contains Paracetamol with decongestant Phenylephrine and an antihistamine Chlorpheniramine maleate.     Sinarest medicine is a combination of Acetaminophen, Chlorpheniramine, and Pseudoephedrine and it is used to treat medical conditions like headache, fever, body aches, sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, itching, watery eyes, and sinus congestion caused by allergies.     Sinarest Dosage

Unless prescribed or directed by the doctor, do not increase intake of this drug, and do not try to take it very often, or for a longer time than advised. Medicines, which are labeled only for adults, should be kept away from the reach of children. (6)

    Sinarest Tablets are usually recommended 1-2 tablets tid or qid (3 and 4 times a day respectively).

    Sinarest Side Effects

    Sinarest medicine leaves a noticeable effect on the body’s metabolism in many ways. Many a time, it causes an increase in the release of acid in the stomach, which can lead to irregular heartbeat or disturbed stomach. It is a diuretic medicine and can also increase blood pressure. Blood reaches to skin level after consuming Sinarest tablet, which generally lasts up to six hours. Sinarest medicine is not recommended for children younger than six years, as the medicine is not safe for children. Therefore, this drug should be avoided for children younger than 12 years, unless specified by the physician. (7)

    Sometimes, the medicine does not reduce the length or duration of common flu and can lead to some serious side effects instead. Proper dosage and directions should be carefully considered in order to reduce the risk for serious side effects. Sinarest tablets should not be used to make a child sleepy and it is advised to avoid other medications, which cure cough and cold or contains similar ingredients while taking sinarest. Consult a doctor or pharmacist about other ways to relieve cough and cold symptoms for children (such as drinking enough fluids, using a humidifier or saline nose drops or spray). 

    Other side effects of Sinarest medicine can be:

    Various medical studies and research show that too much consumption of Sinarest tablets sometimes become a reason for infertility in women. Risk of a heart attack in young adults can occur due to this medication and it can worsen the menopausal symptoms. (8)

    It is highly recommended for patients with hypersensitivity reactions which is rare, to discontinue the medicine. Sinarest medicine contains Paracetamol salt and should not be used along with other Paracetamol containing products. This drug should also be used carefully for patients with hepatic dysfunction, cardiovascular problems, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, epilepsy, and closed angle glaucoma. It is also advisable not to drive or operate any machinery when on treatment with Sinarest medicine.

The consumption of other medicines, including prescription and over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal products should be discussed with the doctor before the intake of Sinarest.     Taking this medicine with other drugs may induce fatigue, sleepiness or slow breathing.
