Infertility problems are on rise and there are 5 Lifestyle factors which affect fertility in Women and Men. These 5 factors include increased consumption of alcohol, smoking, low weight or overweight. Performing moderate exercise on a regular basis helps in achieving the results in the form of a positive pregnancy.

If you are planning to get pregnant then you should know that it can take more than just planning to have sex more often. To get you and your partner’s body baby ready and healthy to conceive then you should look at your lifestyle.

If you are thinking that only women are important while planning to get pregnant then you are wrong. You and your partner are equally important while planning to get pregnant or conceive. An equal number of fertility or infertility issues come up from male lifestyle factors that affect on a big scale as compared to female lifestyle factors. All the points listed below are for both the partners.

    Fertility, Infertility

Making changes in your lifestyle to have the healthy pregnancy and to increase the chances of getting pregnant can be among the hardest hurdles that need to be overcome for couples. However, lifestyle and fertility walk hand in hand and little changes in your lifestyle can be worth having a baby.

Alcohol impact on female- All women should know that alcohol may disturb your menses and can lead to irregular periods, irregular ovulation and serious luteal phase defects, that reduce the chances of conception and to have a healthy pregnancy and to increase the chances of getting pregnant. To avoid infertility issues about this.

    Infertility, Factors That Affect Fertility

Alcohol impact on male- All men should know that alcohol can affect sperm morphology, sperm count and sperm motility that may cause free-radical damage to the DNA sperm carries. Try to stay at cold or normal room temperature and avoid hot shower or staying in warm places and strictly avoid working on laptop keep on the lap. Hot or warm things affects the sperm count. Factors that affect fertility is needed to be taken seriously to conceive healthily.

Caffeine impact Health- All women should know that caffeine can cause sperm to become hyperactive, affecting their mobility and affects the sperm count that is not good if you are planning to get pregnant and to increase the chances of getting pregnant. Caffeine always put stress on the adrenals and disturbs blood sugar which also affects energy levels of both men and women, unusual mood swings and irritability – not always conducive to intimacy! To avoid infertility issues about this. Factors that affect fertility is needed to be taken seriously to conceive healthily.

Smoking hugely devests the fertility or may cause infertility problems- to eggs and to sperm. Although smoking seriously depletes Vitamin C from the body and Vitamin C is essential to all your body’s processes, and especially during pregnancy or even if you are planning to conceive. To avoid infertility issues about this. Factors that affect fertility is needed to be taken seriously to conceive healthily

Being underweight or obese or overweight affects fertility in both women and men and for this, you need to check your BMI. You can measure whether or not your weight is healthy or your BMI – Body Mass Index is fine or not. Mark that a female BMI of below 18.5 is believed underweight; 18.5–24.9 is believed normal; 25–29.9 is overweight; and BMI 30 and over is obese. The thing you need to know is the ideal range for conception or to plan baby is 20 to 25. Factors that affect fertility is needed to be taken seriously to conceive healthily.

    Chances of getting Pregnant, Infertility

Regular exercise or regular yoga ensures that endorphins that are feel-good hormones that circulate in your body and simply improves general circulation. Better circulation of feel good hormones means that more nutrients are reaching your ovaries (in a woman) or testes (in a man); and will improve your blood-sugar balance. This helps you to conceive at a faster rate.

If you are unable to conceive naturally even after trying for more than 1 year, then IVF treatment can be an option for you. If you have already undergone IVF process, then read what extra precautions you need to take for the successful IVF treatment.

I am planning to be pregnant and I have already abandoned the bad habits like smoking and drinking, but still unable to conceive. What might be the reason behind this? Does having pineapples influence infertility, my friend told pineapples have bromelain which affects fertility? Is that true?

Along with discarding bad habits, you should continue with the good ones too. Yoga, Brazil nuts, and tracking ovulation can help you achieve fertility soon.

I guess environmental exposures to chemicals and pollutants influence infertility too. It is obvious that you get caught to many diseases by environmental pollution and it harms woman's reproductive system.

I would like to add stress to this list. Stress can also impact fertility levels because it creates hormonal imbalance in the body.

I have heard that high mental stress, exposure to high temperatures, exposure to chemicals and even radiation coming out from electromagnetic appliances can cause infertility in women. One should be very careful while handling such appliances.
