Most of us have heard about the tragic stories of senior citizens. But this 68 year old female has changed perception towards the usual mentality. She found 14 people around her nutritious and so she decided to kill and eat them. This senior citizen was arrested for her serial crime and punished for the same.

It is really hard to imagine chewing human flesh! Though, we all have heard the tales when in ancient days, humans used to feed humans. During that era, it was difficult to find and hard to classify the edible items. Human flesh was a common supplement to the diet then or the feeders were outsiders then and cannibalism was an effective 'keep out' signal. But in modern era, when we are well equipped with technology and food items how one human can eat other human?

In a study of Cannibalism, it was found that 'People Are Not Nutritious'.

We all have heard about serial killing. Most of the serial killers fall under the age group of 15 to 60. But have you ever heard about a woman who is in her early 70's killing and eating the people around her? Hard to digest and believe! Generally, elder people are considered weak due to age and less involvement in physical activities.

Grandmothers may have a funky smell and sure, they can be pretty annoying sometimes, but I think it’s safe to say that nobody really fears them. Old women are typically seen as being completely harmless, though 68-year-old Tamara Samsonova may forever change the way you view them.

Russian Grandmother Horror

As reported by the UK’s Daily Star, the Russian grandmother was arrested this week for the murder of her 79-year-old friend, caught thanks to CCTV footage that showed her hauling the elderly woman’s body parts around in a plastic bag. At a nearby pond, the rest of the woman’s corpse was soon located.

Tamara Samsonova

But that’s only the beginning of the story, as a police raid of Samsonova’s flat uncovered a series of diaries detailing upwards of 14 other murders. And the woman, already dubbed “Grannybal Lecter” by the media, didn’t just kill her victims – she chopped them into pieces and even consumed them.

The horrifying diaries recount the brutal murders of a man whose remains were found over a decade ago and even Samsonova’s own husband, who went missing back in 2005. At the time, nobody suspected the then 58-year-old woman was to blame for his disappearance.

I killed my tenant Volodya, cut him to pieces in the bathroom with a knife,” Samsonova chillingly wrote in one diary. “Put the pieces of his body in plastic bags and threw them away.”

The so-called Grannybal Lecter has already plead guilty to her crimes, insisting that she knew this day was coming and that she intended to be caught. She says the recent murder of her friend was the closing of the cannibalistic chapter of her life, and she wants to be punished to the full extent of the law.

You decide, your honour,” Samsonova told the judge. “I am guilty and I deserve a punishment.”

It is one of the chilling cases that have shaken the faith from the senior citizens.

How it was possible for a 65-68 year old woman to bring in and kill someone younger than her. Either she might be very strong or too clever.

Human bodies are neither nutritious nor any different than animal flesh. The muscles get stiff when a person is dead and it is impossible either to eat or cut them down.

The story of the cannibalistic chapter was freaking scary. I have seen a movie like this story named "American psycho" In which a rich man had an urge to kill young girls and eat them up. I never thought this could happen in real life too.
