Your blood volume has increased up to 40 to 50 percent since the time you got pregnant. As your uterus pushes up leading to crowding near your diaphragm and stomach, you are more likely to experience shortness of breath and heartburn. It can also be a sign of preterm labor if you didn’t felt a pain before. At week 32 pregnant, you may feel a tightening sensation that begins at the top of your uterus and then spreads down.  The pre labor contraction usually lasts from 15 to 30 seconds and can stay for longer than 1 minute. The pre labor contractions stop as soon as you change position. The labor contractions are progressively stronger and continuous. The labor contractions require immediate medical attention.
