    Ask a Question ?

Try to keep question more specific

    Q. Can you feel pregnant after two days of having sex?
    • Your body starts sending out hormones right away after having sexual intercourse. Usually, it takes 6-8 days for the egg to travel up to the fallopian tubes and then get implanted into the uterus. The body starts sending out hormones as soon as egg gets fertilized. Some studies have shown that women can start feeling the symptoms of pregnancy but for accurate results pregnancy test should be performed either after 7 days of sex or after missing periods.

    Q. Do pelvic infections lead to infertility?
    • Yes, pelvic infections can cause permanent damage to female reproductive organs as well as scarring in fallopian tubes. Due to this, damage and complications increases risk of infertility in women. It is recommended to couples who are attempting pregnancy to have an immediate evaluation, when the woman has a prior history of pelvic infection.
