Dr. Best completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago School of Medicine. During residency, Dr. Best realized her love of teaching residents and medical students. She was elected and served as the Chief Academic Resident of her residency class. Dr. Best went on to receive excellent training in basic reproductive endocrinology, ovulation induction, in vitro fertilization, and minimally invasive surgery during her fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Best was awarded the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship where she researched and later published work on the novel rapid non-genomic actions of sex steroids at the University of Pisa in Pisa, Italy. She has published in peer-reviewed journals, authored book chapters, and presented her research nationally.
